Today: Through the Eyes of a Child

Through the Eyes of a Child is an annual event co-sponsored by Circle K International and Beta Theta Pi in which 100 Cleveland area children visit JCU’s campus for several hours of holiday fun and activities. This year’s event will be held from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2011.

Greek and other student organizations traditionally sponsor activities for the children such as cookie decorating, face painting, arts and crafts, time in the gym, a visit with Santa, and lunch in the dining hall.

Each child is paired with a JCU student, who is asked to spend up to $20 to purchase a gift for their “little buddy.” Naturally, Santa will give the gift to the child. This is a great event for anyone who is looking for a fun and rewarding service project for the holiday season.
