The mission of the Dr. Shirley S. Seaton Cultural Awareness Series is to explore and examine current cultural issues. We also want to engage in discussions that celebrate diversity as an integral part of our lived experience in Cleveland, Ohio. The Center for Student Diversity and Inclusion is putting a call out to the John Carroll community to make recommendations for the 2013-2014 Series.

David L. Barr, Ph.D., professor of religion at Wright State University, is the 2012-2013 Tuohy Chair Fellow. Barr will deliver the second of his six lectures in the Tuohy Chair Lecture Series on Tuesday, March 26, at 7:30 p.m. in the Donahue Auditorium. The topic of the lecture series is “Jerusalem, Jesus, and Jihad: End-Times Scenarios in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.” The lecture on March 26 will focus on “The Original End-Times: Enoch, Daniel, Ezra, and John.”
