“Challenges to Contemporary Islam” registration fee waived for JCU students

The registration fee will be waived for current JCU students to enable all to attend the upcoming conference, “Challenges to Contemporary Islam: The Muslim World 100 Years After Nursi’s Damascus Sermon” on October 23-25. The conference is on the centennial anniversary of Nursi’s Damascus Sermon in which he discusses the problems that the Muslim world faces.

The conference provides a unique opportunity to hear scholars from around the world who will present papers on a variety of topics including Muslim-Christian relations and moral, social, and political perspectives.
