Professor Thomas Roche, JCU’s co-Gerard Manley Hopkins Professor of English, will be delivering a lecture Tuesday, November 8, at 7 p.m. in AD 258. The lecture is titled: :”Hamlet: Protagonist or Hero?”
Professor Roche spent his career teaching at Princeton University. He is the author of seven books and numerous essays about Shakespeare and Renaissance literature.
His talk will offer a fresh view of the play, considering Hamlet as a serial murderer. Along with those who have an interest in literature, those who study criminology and psychology will enjoy this lecture.
