Poverty immersion summer internships available

John Carroll University, as part of its membership in the Shepherd Higher Education Poverty Alliance, is offering eight week internships during the summer of 2012. The internships will involve placements at community organizations whose missions address poverty in regional and national settings.

The Shepherd Alliance offers internships in Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, Georgia, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia.

Current full-time JCU sophomores and juniors who will be graduating in May 2013 or later are eligible to apply.
