Today: “You throw like a girl” – is there a problem with this statement?
College Football Hall of Famer Don McPherson will be presenting the program “You Throw Like A Girl” on Monday, November 14, at 7 p.m. in the Kulas Auditorium. For more than 20 years, he has used the power and appeal of sports to address complex social issues. For this event he tackles the language and culture that imply that women are “less than” and where that can lead. Don is a very powerful and dynamic speaker who addresses the issue of relationship violence and how we all have a role in preventing it.
