Students: purchase your Spring 2012 parking permit

Parking permits for the Spring 2012 semester may be purchased online starting at noon on Monday, November 21, 2011. To receive a $25 discount on the price of your parking permit, purchase and pay for your permit online by noon on Tuesday, January 3, 2012.

Cost of Spring 2012 parking permits purchased by noon on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 (per semester cost):

  • Freshman/sophomore resident students (Green Road Annex): $150
  • Junior/senior resident students (on campus): $150
  • Commuter (on campus): $150
  • Freshman commuter (BP Lot): $150
  • Evening (3 p.m. to 3 a.m., on campus): $60

Cost of Spring 2012 parking permits purchased after noon on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 (per semester cost):

  • Freshman/sophomore resident students (Green Road Annex): $175
  • Junior/senior resident students (on campus): $175
  • Commuter (on campus): $175
  • Freshman commuter (BP Lot): $175
  • Evening (3 p.m. to 3 a.m., on campus): $85

Student parking permit acquisition process:

  • November 21, 2011 (Monday) – Permits available to purchase online (see discount prices above).
  • January 3, 2012 (Tuesday) – Discount pricing ends at noon.
  • December 5 (Monday) to December 16 (Friday), 2012 – Permits available to pick up in the Campus Safety Services Office the following hours: Monday to Friday – 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
    • Evening students will pick up permits at the Campus Safety Services Office the following hours: Monday, Tuesday, Friday – 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday – 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • January 17 (Tuesday) to January 20(Friday), 2012 – Paid permits may be picked up from the Mailroom in the Administration Building (residents, off-campus, and commuter permit holders) the following hours: Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
    • Evening students will pick up permits at the Campus Safety Services Office the following hours: Monday, Tuesday, Friday – 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday – 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
  • During the first week of semester the top portion of the temporary permit must be displayed print side up on the driver side of the front dashboard until the actual permit is picked up.
  • January 20, 2012 (Friday) – All permanent parking permits must be purchased and affixed to your vehicle.

How do you purchase a parking permit?

The acquisition of the Spring Semester 2012 parking permit is entirely web based. Students will register for and purchase their parking permit online (through BannerWeb) using a credit/debit card for payment. Print the Temporary Permit and the top portion of the permit must be displayed (print side up) on the driver side of the front dashboard.

Reminder: all students must park in their assigned lot beginning the first day of classes. There is no “open parking” during that week!
