Share your research: Celebration of Scholarship applications now available

Interested in sharing your research efforts with faculty and students?
Looking for a practice session to tune up a brief conference presentation?
Need an outlet for your academic creative achievements?

Join us in the 11th annual Celebration of Scholarship to be held the week of March 26, 2012, and celebrate the intellectual life of the University.

This campus-wide event began with the purpose of sharing outside of the classroom and research labs some of the excellent academic work occurring on our campus. The event also facilitates communication of scholarly activity across disciplines.

The Celebration is open to undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, staff, and administrators at John Carroll and offers the opportunity to present professional accomplishments and creative endeavors in a friendly academic environment.

The Celebration Art Exhibit held in Grasselli Library offers first, second, and third place prizes for best in show as judged by a panel of student, faculty, and staff members. Led by Phil Metres, Ph.D., and Cynthia Caporella, Ph.D., the Arts at Lunch showcases the creative activities and performances of the University community.

The panel and brief paper presentations will provide a more formal venue to highlight scholarly work while the Poster Session allows for more relaxed presentation to discuss projects.

Applications are now available online for the Poster Session, paper and panel presentations, the Celebration Art Exhibit, and the Arts at Lunch. Apply early to secure the best time slot for your panel presentation.
