Human trafficking presentation/Stations of the Cross

Did you know that an estimated 27 million people are held in slavery worldwide? The sale of human beings is a $32 billion per year industry – more than Google, Nike, and Starbucks combined.

To learn more about this important issue, join us on Sunday, March 25, at 7:30 p.m. in Saint Francis Chapel for a presentation by a leading expert on the subject, Sister Anne Victory of the Humility of Mary. This will be followed by a candlelight vigil and outdoor Stations of the Cross (weather permitting). The evening will end with the 10 p.m. worship service, pizza, and a letter writing/advocacy campaign.

Also, there will be Human Trafficking Stations of the Cross at 14 locations around campus (Boler, Administration Building, Dolan Science Center, Grasselli Library, and LSC) until Friday with more information on this topic.

Sponsored by the Arrupe Scholars Program, Campus Ministry, the Center for Service and Social Action and the Peace, Justice and Human Rights Program.
