The Cultural Awareness Series presents Eboo Patel, founder of the Interfaith Youth Core, on Wednesday, March 28, at 7 p.m. in the Donahue Auditorium of the Dolan Center for Science and Technology.
Patel believes religion can act as a bridge of cooperation rather than a barrier of division. He’s inspired to build this bridge by his faith as a Muslim, his Indian heritage, and his American citizenship. He has spoken about this vision at places like the TED conference, the Clinton Global Initiative, and the Nobel Peace Prize Forum, as well as colleges and universities across the country.
A colloborative event sponsored by the: Office of the Provost and Academic Vice President, Program in Applied Ethics, Center for Student Diversity and Inclusion, Office of Mission and Identity, Department of Theology and Religious Studies and the Tuohy Chair, and Division of Student Affairs.
