Dauby Plaza Class of 1956 Fountain Project

The campus community is invited to a brief information session on Wednesday, June 13, at noon, in the LSC Conference Room to learn about an exciting, new gift for Dauby Plaza.

A fountain, gifted from the Class of 1956, has been designed to enhance and cool the plaza area adjacent to the Beaudry Shrine. It will contain a reflective pond with gently flowing water and planters adjacent to the shrine. The fountain will be constructed from stone and granite sections salvaged from the Bohannon Science Center. The project is scheduled to begin in late June and will be completed prior to the start of the academic year.

In related news, we are still accepting gifts through December 2012 for the Saint Ignatius of Loyola Plaza brick paver and fountain enhancement project.
