The main campus data storage system will be upgraded this Friday, June 29, after 5 p.m. This upgrade will improve reliability and increase performance. In order to perform the upgrade, the storage system must be taken offline for a brief time. Services such as Banner and Blackboard will be temporarily suspended during the upgrade process and returned to service as soon as possible.
The entire outage is expected to last from approximately 5:15 p.m. until 7 p.m., however, individual systems will be returned to service as soon as possible and may be available before 7 p.m. Please direct any questions to the Information Technology Services Help Desk at helpdesk@jcu.edu or extension 3005.
