Save the date for the Bishop Pilla Program Italian Continuing Education Orientation and Registration meeting scheduled for Wednesday, September 5, 2012, at 7 p.m. in OC 112.
During this meeting we will meet and greet new and returning students interested in learning Italian, and we will answer questions about the courses offered, parking permits, Rosetta Stone, and so on.
In case you are not familiar with the BISPL continuing education courses, the Bishop Anthony M. Pilla Program in Italian American Studies at John Carroll University offers Italian continuing education courses to adults which run for the entire academic year and include grammar, conversation, and culture classes. Our language classes, taught by qualified native speakers, are conveniently offered in the evening, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
This semester, our courses will start September 10, 2012, and will run until December 10, 2012, for a total of 12 weeks. The cost of each course is $200 a semester, payable by check to the order of the JCU/Bishop Pilla Program. Once enrolled, students will also receive free access to the JCU language lab and be able to use the “Rosetta Stone” language software.
Finally, as in the past, the program is organizing an educational trip to Italy; which will take place in May 2013 in the northern regions of Italy: Piemonte and Liguria. If you are interested in our 2013 educational trip to Northern Italy contact Giuseppina Mileti at 216.397.1798 or firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
