Join Rev. Valentino Lassiter, pastor-in-residence, and Lavert Stuart, classical and jazz pianist, for an evening of dialogue and musical celebration on the 75th anniversary of the publication of the acclaimed book Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston. Rev. Lassiter will speak on “Can I Get a Witness?!” (Religious movements and influences of the Harlem Renaissance.)
The event takes place on Thursday, October 4, at 7 p.m. in the Donahue Auditorium of the Dolan Center for Science and Technology. It is free and open to the public.
