Today: Presentation on hunger in Cleveland

Did you know that the food insecurity rate in Cuyahoga County is 18.8 percent? Also, a recent study showed that there is a gap of 57 million meals per year in our area between the meals that people have and the meals that they need. Mary O’Shea from the Cleveland Foodbank will speak this evening at 5 p.m. in the Donahue Auditorium about how our community and the foodbank seek to address these hunger issues in our area.

This event is sponsored by the Center for Service and Social Action and the Peace, Justice, and Human Rights Program. Contact Peggy Finucane, Ph.D., at mfinucane@jcu.edu or Rich Clark, Ph.D., at rclark@jcu.edu for more information.
