Today: Learn how to be a competitive medical school applicant

Are you thinking about a career in medicine? Want to know what it takes to be a competitive medical school applicant? Be in Dolan A202/A203 at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 14. You can learn what it takes to be a competitive applicant from “both sides!”

At 4:30 p.m., Quinn Capers IV, M.D., associate dean of admissions for The Ohio State University College of Medicine, will give a presentation and answer your questions. At approximately 6:15 p.m., a panel of four JCU alumni who are currently enrolled at three different medical schools (allopathic, osteopathic, and research) will talk about their experiences applying to and attending medical school.

Free dinner, snacks, and beverages will be provided. All are welcome! Questions or plan on attending? Please contact TLee@jcu.edu or Klee@jcu.edu.
