Just wanted to inform you of the lecture sponsored by The Institute of Catholic Studies today, Thursday, Nov. 15, at 7:30 p.m. in the LSC Conference Room by Dr. Paula M. Kane. Dr. Kane is the John and Lucine O’Brien Marous Chair of Contemporary Catholic Studies at the University of Pittsburgh. She focuses her research on the cultural and social history of American Catholicism, Catholic women in particular, in the 20th century. Her lecture is titled: “It’s all in the Blood: the Strange Tale of Sister Thorn, and American Stigmatic.”
