Today: Help John Carroll break a Guinness World Record!

John Carroll University’s Leadership and Management Principles (M.B.A.) class would like to invite you to partner with us in a record-breaking and philanthropic night! On Friday, Nov. 16, at 7:30 p.m. in the Jardine Room, we will attempt to break the Guinness World Record for most high fives in one minute, while simultaneously raising money for the Boys and Girls Club of America. The event is sponsored by McDonald Hopkins.

We expect this to be an extremely festive affair, and those in attendance will not only be World Champions, but also teammates in helping to improve our community.

The current record is 107 high fives (each coming from a different person) in one minute, and we believe that our campuses reputation for teamwork and enthusiasm would make you an excellent partner in helping to put JCU in the World Record books.

Donations of money or non-perishable food items will be gladly accepted at the event, and everything collected will benefit those in need in our Cleveland community. Pizza and light refreshments will also be provided for participants.

If interested, we ask that you contact your team and respond to us as soon as possible. By Nov. 10, we would like to have an estimated number of people that will be in attendance.

If you would like more information about the event, feel free to email Ryan Gross at rgross12@jcu.edu. Ryan is also happy to stop by your office and discuss the event with you in person.

Thank you in advance for your support!
