Wednesday, Feb. 13, is Ash Wednesday and there will be distribution of ashes and Mass in Saint Francis Chapel at 12:05 p.m., 5:05 p.m., and 10 p.m. All people of faith are invited to receive ashes, which are a sign of repentance and mark the beginning of the Christian time of Lent. Catholics are called to abstain from meat and to fast on Ash Wednesday (one meal and two snacks).
