Today: “Sex Signals” coming to JCU on Thursday, Feb. 21

JCU will host the presentation of “Sex Signals” on Thursday, Feb. 21, at 7:30 p.m. in Kulas Auditorium. “Sex Signals,” through improvisation and audience interaction, explores how social pressures, gender stereotypes, unrealistic fantasies, and false preconceptions all contribute to the tensions often found in dating. The presentation encourages the audience to both provide solutions for creating safer and healthier interpersonal sexual relationships, and brainstorm how they could positively intervene as bystanders when they witness a friend or stranger in a vulnerable situation that could lead to sexual violence.

Come early as seats are limited! “Sex Signals” is sponsored by the Program in Applied Ethics, Arrupe Scholars Program, Residence Life, the JCU Counseling Center, and the Office of Student Activities.
