Dear John Carroll University community:
The Class of 2017 is starting to take shape. Our planning for the “home stretch” of the recruitment cycle to reach May 1st is in full swing. This is where we need your help.
We are asking for your support as we plan and carry out the Class of 2017 Celebration, our flagship campus visit program.
Each year, approximately 250 of the students who attend this premier event choose to enroll and become part of the freshman class. This day is a success because of the help we receive from everyone across campus; it is a special opportunity for members of the JCU community to welcome and meet a good number of our new students prior to orientation.
This year, the Office of Admission will be hosting the Class of 2017 Celebration on Saturday, April 6, 2013. Everyone on campus plays a role in representing the University, not only to attract these students to Carroll, but also to help them graduate in four years and become dedicated future alumni.
While specific faculty and staff (as well as various offices and departments) have already been contacted about the role they can play during the event, it is just as important to have many other JCU community members present for the day, showing the best of John Carroll to these students in the decision making process. We encourage you to be on campus on the day of the event. Feel free to stop by, say hello, meet our prospective students, and share your stories about the John Carroll community and the role you play in student success.
You can confirm your attendance to be on campus and share breakfast (8:30-10 a.m.) and/or lunch (noon-1 p.m.) with our admitted students and their families by emailing Joanne Baudo, campus visit specialist, at email@example.com.
We appreciate your help and support as we move forward with this important program. Together, we can host another great event to welcome these talented students into the John Carroll family.
