Show your support of the academic life of John Carroll University! You are invited to attend a variety of events across campus the week of April 8-11, 2013 for the 12th annual A Celebration of Scholarship!
Join in celebrating the scholarship of the John Carroll community during the Paper/Panel Presentations from 2-6:15 p.m. today, Wednesday, and Thursday. These presentations will feature students (both undergraduate and graduate), faculty and other members of the University community and will cover a wide range of interesting topics. Join in the Celebration to better appreciate and applaud faculty and students for their individual and collective accomplishments.
Join The Mitsui Distinguished Lecture, at 6:30 p.m., featuring Brantly Womack, presenting, “China’s Future in a Multi-nodal World” in the Dolan Science Center, Donahue Auditorium.
Followed by The Tuohy Lecture Series at 7:30 p.m., featuring David L. Barr, PhD., presenting “The (Second) Coming: Messiahs, Jesus and the Mahdi” in the Dolan Science Center, A202/203.
Enjoy the artistic expressions of the University community all week in the Tully Atrium and Gallery in the Grasselli Library for the Art Exhibit featuring work by members of the JCU community. The Art Exhibit is a juried show, which showcases the artistic works of students, faculty, and staff.
The twelfth annual A Celebration of Scholarship is hosted by the Provost and Academic Vice President’s Office at John Carroll University. Additional information is available on the web.
