Celebration of Scholarship Thursday events

Show your support of the academic life of John Carroll University! You are invited to attend a variety of events across campus the week of April 8-11, 2013, for the 12th annual A Celebration of Scholarship!

You are invited to the “Meet the Artists” reception today at 1 p.m. in the Tully Atrium and Gallery in the Grasselli Library for the Art Exhibit featuring work by members of the JCU community. The Art Exhibit is a juried show, which showcases the artistic works of students, faculty, and staff. First, second, and third place winners will be announced.

Show your support the academic life of John Carroll University by attending one of the numerous Paper/Panel Presentations from 2-6:15 p.m. These presentations will feature students (both undergraduate and graduate), faculty and other members of the University community and will cover a wide range of interesting topics. Join in the Celebration to better appreciate and applaud faculty and students for their individual and collective accomplishments.

The Celebration concludes at 5 p.m., with Andrew Delbanco’s presentation, “College: What it Was, Is, and Should Be” in the Dolan Science Center, Donahue Auditorium.

The twelfth annual A Celebration of Scholarship is hosted by the Provost and Academic Vice President’s Office at John Carroll University. Additional information is available on the web.
