Tim Wise is one of the most prominent anti-racist writers and educators in the United States. Wise has provided anti-racism training to educators nationwide, and has conducted trainings with hundreds of corporate, government, entertainment, military, and law enforcement officials on methods for dismantling racism in their institutions. Wise has appeared on hundreds of radio and television programs, is a regular contributor to discussions about race on CNN, and was featured in a segment on ABC’s “20/20” in 2007. He has been featured in several documentary films, including “Who is Black in America?” a CNN special with Soledad O’Brian. Philosopher Cornel West calls Tim Wise, “a vanilla brother in the tradition of (antiracism and antislavery fighter) John Brown.”
