Today: Pray for peace
On Saturday, Sept. 7, you are invited to join in prayer with Pope Francis, who has called for prayer and fasting as a response to the situation in Syria. Resources are also available through the National Council of Catholic Bishops.
Bishop Lennon of our Diocese has asked that all parishes and institutions set aside a time during the week of Sept. 9-15 to pray for peace. Campus Ministry invites you to visit Saint Francis Chapel on Wednesday, Sept. 11. This seems an especially fitting time to pray for peace. There will be an interactive display in the Chapel as well as prayer cards and other resources.
