Today: The 2013-2014 Shula Lecture Series presents: Ellen K. Feder

The 2013-2014 Shula Lecture Series, “Bodies and Sexualities,” presents “Reassigning Ambiguity: Parental Decisions, Intersex, and the Matter of Harm” with Ellen K. Feder. The lecture will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 17, at 6 p.m. in Donahue Auditorium.

Ellen K. Feder teaches philosophy at American University in Washington, D.C.  She is the author of “Family Bonds: Genealogies of Race and Gender” (Oxford University Press 2007), as well as coedited collections in continental philosophy, feminist ethics, and the history of Western Philosophy. Feder’s new book, “Making Sense of Intersex: Changing Ethical Perspectives in Biomedicine,” is forthcoming from Indiana University Press in 2014.
