Today: Civil Rights and Civil Liberties Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow

The Dr. Shirley S. Seaton Cultural Awareness Series presents Shakyra Diaz, policy director at the American Civil Liberties Union of Ohio. She will be speaking on Monday, Oct. 7, at 5 p.m. in the Jardine Room.

The mission of the ACLU of Ohio is to aid in maintaining and extending constitutional and other fundamental rights, liberties, privileges, and immunities, and to take all legitimate action in furtherance of that object without political partisanship. Join Shakyra Diaz as she discusses civil rights and civil liberties from a historical perspective and how these issues are relevant in our society today.
