Today: Sale of Scrap

The University will be selling one vehicle and some miscellaneous landscaping equipment. All offers must be received by noon on Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013.

University Vehicle – 99 CHEVY EXPRESS VAN (Starting Bid $750)

• 5.7 V8 Express 3500
• Current mileage – 109,035
• Needs work / door skins exterior cargo
• Needs interior drivers/pass seats interior panels.
• Exhaust/suspension /shocks/intake manifold.

Misc Landscaping Equipment 

• Mcullogh Minimac 35 chainsaw – starting bid – $20 needs repair
• Stihl 034 AV chainsaw – starting bid or best offer $40 needs repair
• Stihl HS72 Hedgetrimmer – Starting bid $30 needs work
• Stihl HS45 Hedgetrimmer – Starting bid $30 needs work
• Stihl 86C Handheld Blower – Starting bid $20 missing parts
• Echo Weed eater – starting bid $10 needs repair or for parts.

All offers must be received by 12:00 PM on Tuesday, November 19, 2013. Please submit your bids via email to afronczek@jcu.edu or in writing to Andrew Fronczek in the Purchasing Office. Winning bidders will be contacted later that week.

The minimum offer that will be accepted for the vehicle/equipment is listed next to them.

As with previous auctions, the University will be accepting minimum bids and maximum bids. This auction will work similar to an ebay auction. I will accept your minimum bid as the lowest offer. If more than one person bids on an item, I will alternate through the bidders (based on when bids are received) at $5 increments until I have a winner. If there are multiple high offers, those individuals will be contacted and asked to make another offer.
