The Center for Career Services will host the 2013 JCU Student and Employer Holiday Networking Event on Thursday, Dec. 5, from 4:30-6 p.m. in the Jardine Room, located in the D.J. Lombardo Student Center.
This is your opportunity to meet with more than 60 representatives from more than 40 local employer organizations in an informal, social “cocktail party” setting. Come practice your communication skills and gain industry and company knowledge. All current students, all class standings, and all majors are invited to participate.
Non-alcoholic “mocktails” and light refreshments will be served. Business attire is required. No need to bring resumes, but you should bring business cards if you have them.
While you’re there, get your photo taken in your business suit in our “Professional Photobooth” to use as your profile picture for social media such as LinkedIn!
Pre-register via Career Connection by no later than Monday, Dec. 2, to receive a professional name badge at the event.
