AIDS Awareness Week: JCU’s Living Ribbon

Today, at half time of the men’s basketball game, JCU students will form a Living Ribbon on the court. The red ribbon is the universal symbol of awareness and support for those living with HIV. The game starts at 2 p.m. in the Varsity Gym.

Also at the game, buy some delicious baked goods to benefit St. Aloysius Gonzaga, a Jesuit high school in Nairobi, Kenya, for students who have lost their parents to AIDS.

AIDS Awareness Week is sponsored by Students for Social Justice, the Center for Service and Social Action, the Student Health Center, the Program for Applied Ethics, and the Student Organization Budget Board.
