Global Health Care Delivery (AR 275) is a new course for the spring semester. Class meets Tuesday/Thursday from 11:00-12:15 p.m. and will be taught by Dr. Heidi Moawad, M.D. This course would be a good option for students who plan to do an international immersion trip that involves health care. Additionally, this course has been approved to count towards the Population and Public Health minor. The course description is as follows:
Fundamentals of global issues in health care. Students will study the effects of the increasing intersection of health care among cultures as the world becomes more connected with respect to information, communication, and the economy. Students will investigate how these developments will change the way health care delivery and health policy evolve on a global level in the coming years.
