Today is the final day to R.S.V.P. to join the Vocation Coordinating Committee for our second lunch of spring 2014, sponsored by Campus Ministry. Paula Fitzgerald will present on “Lenten Reflection & Conversations on Life-Giving Moments in our Vocations” on Thursday, March 6, from noon-1 p.m. in Dolan A202/A203.
This gathering will offer participants the opportunity to spend time in personal reflection about life-giving moments and vocation, including a brief presentation and provided materials and reflective resources. You may choose to reflection on the ways you encounter students and vocation, or you may want to spend time reflecting on moments in your own vocation narrative. There will also be an option for small group sharing for those who are interested.
The day before — Wednesday, March 5 – Christians observe Ash Wednesday, which begins the season of Lent, a time for deeper prayer and reflection. The experiential, reflective style of this gathering invites all members of our community to pause… and reflect on joys, struggles, hopes, and challenges in navigating vocations in our lives or with students.
Lunch is provided for this presentation. Those wishing to attend must R.S.V.P. with Julia Sewall in CSSA (216.397.6233 or jsewall@jcu.edu) by today, Thursday, Feb. 27.
This is the second of four lunches held this spring. Other dates will include April 2 and May 1.
