Today: 2014 Nursi Chair Lecture
The Nursi Chair in Islamic Studies presents Rabbi Reuven Firestone, Ph.D., professor of Medieval Judaism and Islam at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion and a senior fellow at the University of Southern California Center for Religion and Civic Culture. Rabbi Firestone’s lecture will be titled “Abraham: The First Jew? Christian? Muslim?” and will take place on Sunday, April 6, at 7 p.m. in the Donahue Auditorium. There will be a light reception to follow the lecture.
