End-of-Semester Reminders from the Writing Center

With the end of the semester approaching, you probably have a few big projects or papers coming up. Remember that the consultants at the Writing Center are available to help you on any writing assignment for any class, and at any point in the writing process!

From April 22 through the end of the semester, we will only offer 30-minute appointments to writers, and writers may only make one appointment per day. We do this to ensure that students who need the Center have a fair chance to make appointments and see consultants.

A few tips and reminders:

• make an appointment, and we recommend doing so well in advance of the assignment due date
• bring your assignment sheet
• come prepared with questions or specific areas of concern

You can make an appointment by emailing writingcenter@jcu.edu, calling x4529, or stopping by OC 207. If you cannot make it to your appointment and need to cancel for some reason, PLEASE notify us so that we can help someone else.
