Integrated Marketing and Communications Updates

As you may know, during the summer, John Carfagno left his position as assistant vice president for Integrated Marketing and Communications (IMC) after five years of dedicated service to Carroll. Building on the foundation that John worked to put in place, IMC’s leadership has been realigned to help enhance our services to the campus community and further strengthen the University’s relationships, reputation, and resources.

In July, Mike Richwalsky was appointed executive director of marketing and creative services. In this role, Mike is responsible for the planning and execution of comprehensive marketing, brand, creative, social media, and web strategies. He continues to partner with the creative services and enrollment teams to tie integrated marketing to overall enrollment goals.

Additionally, Josh Tysiachney was appointed executive director of communications. In this role, Josh is responsible for communications strategy and messaging for academic programs, executive communications, campus communications, and the University’s mission and identity messaging. He also collaborates with IMC colleagues on media relations strategies and John Carroll Magazine.
