Featured speaker: Margaret (Maggie) Fitzpatrick ’06
Maggie is manager of the Refugee Empowerment Agricultural Program for Refugee Response in Cleveland. She earned her B.S. in biology at JCU with an environmental studies concentration, and an M.S. in community, agriculture, resource and recreation studies from Michigan State University in 2010. Maggie completed post-graduate internships on farms in Ohio and Vermont. She also worked on a volunteer farm in Ireland through World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms (WWOOF).
