Today: 7th Annual Government Career Day

John Carroll University will co-host the 7th Annual Government Career Day on Wednesday, October 22 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom of the Cleveland State University Student Center.

We have more agencies ever before this year and they are very eager to meet faculty, staff, students and alumni of all majors and disciplines to impart internship and full-time job information!

Learn about the different agencies and what it takes to be a competitive job candidate! There will be representatives from federal, state, and local government agencies and workshops on how to apply for work with Cuyahoga County, the State of Ohio, and the U.S. Government. There will also be a special workshop about the Pathways Program. Our Keynote speaker will be James Free, Director of the NASA Glenn Research Center.

9:00 – 2:00 p.m. Career Fair style tabling

9:30 a.m. Find a job with Cuyahoga County

11:00 a.m. Work for the State of Ohio – Learn how!

12:15 p.m. Keynote Speaker – Mr. James Free, Director, NASA Glenn Research Center

1:00 p.m. Learn about the Pathways Program, how to navigate usajobs.gov and apply for federal jobs

This event is free to attend and open to the public. Please dress professionally. Although agency representatives may not be able to take your resume, bring several copies with you.
