Applications are now available for the Shepherd Internship Program, an eight-week poverty studies summer internship program with community organizations whose missions address poverty in regional and national settings. Placements are available in the fields of education, healthcare, legal advocacy, housing, economic development, hunger and nutrition, youth outreach and community–building.
Current full-time Sophomore or Junior students who will graduate in May 2016 or later are eligible to apply. Interns receive a stipend upon completion of the program as well as summer housing, food and most travel expenses.
