Coins for Cleveland

The Office of Human Resources is encouraging faculty and staff to consider supporting the Coins for Cleveland project.

Coins for Cleveland is a project targeting the hunger needs in the city of Cleveland through the Cleveland Food Bank and the efforts of John Carroll University’s Graduate Managerial and Leadership Skills class members of MN550.

Through many different avenues, the class as a whole has been able to collect $2500+ and 500+ cans for The Greater Cleveland Food Bank. However, they do not want efforts to end there. They are extending the opportunity to help a great cause to the faculty/staff members of the JCU community. The holidays are a time that people become more aware of helping the hungry, however hunger plagues some individuals year round.

We are asking that if you would like to help support a good cause, you may bring canned goods or non-perishable food items to campus with you by this Thursday, December 4. On this day a member of the MN550 will stop by your office to pick up the items.

If you would like to learn more about what MN550 as a class have been doing please visit their Facebook page, here.
