Free tickets for Jesus Christ Superstar on Saturday, December 6

The Center for Student Diversity and Inclusion invites you to a night out: dinner and a show!

Jesus Christ Superstar, the king of rock operas, was created at the end of the turbulent 60’s with a social and political rebel at its center. Jesus’ meteoric rise to fame provides, as the title suggests, a parallel to contemporary celebrity worship surrounding this one man, his life and his identity. Propelled by a stirring score that is driving and majestic, satirical and tender, JCS illuminates the transcendent power of the human spirit. This show startles the mind with its relevance and social implications. Lyrics by Tim Rice. Music by Andrew Lloyd Webber.
