Mellen Research Seminar Series

Walid Busaba, our first external speaker for the academic year, will present his working paper to the faculty on December 5 in BR19 at 2:00 p.m. The paper is titled, “Do Underwriters Overprice IPOs to Avert Potential Withdrawal by the Issuers?” Walid is an Associate Professor of Finance at the University of Western Ontario. His research interests are investment banking, security offerings, cross-listing, financial contracting, and mortgage lending.
