Why is my net pay is a little higher in December?

There will be no medical premium deductions in December. As previously announced, we are making a change to when we deduct premiums for the major voluntary benefit programs that you are enrolled in: Medical, Dental, Vision, Supplemental Life Insurance, LTD. Instead of deducting premiums in advance of the month of coverage (eg deductions in December for coverage in January), we will be deducting premiums on a “current” basis. This means deductions will occur in the month for benefit coverage in that same month. Please note that this does not change any benefits you have elected nor does it create any break in coverage. There is also no change to flexible spending accounts or any impact on the 403b retirement plan.
