We invite you to join in the tradition of this special night on campus. Schedule below:

Saturday, December 13

Musical Concert
LSC, D.J. Lombardo Student Center, 7 p.m.
This year’s Christmas Carroll Eve concert will feature the music of JCU’s Schola Cantorum and Jazz Band. Enjoy the spirit of the season by listening to everything from your traditional holiday favorites (Silent Night, The Man with the Bag, Christmas Time Is Here) to new holiday hits. It is a concert not to be missed. Admission is free.

Home for the Holidays
Atrium, D.J. Lombardo Student Center
7:30 p.m. – Bring your friends to make holiday ornaments and decorate cookies.
8 p.m. – Sing favorite Christmas carols led by members of the Sweet Carrollines, Rhapsody Blue, Streaks in Key and the Pep Band. Special presentation by the Dance Ensemble.
8:30 p.m. – Hear a special reading of “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas” by Dr. Seuss, featuring some of our famous campus celebrities. Refreshments provided too.

Procession to Mass
From Atrium to the Church of the Gesu, 8:45 p.m.
Join the candlelit procession from the atrium to the Church of the Gesu. Candles provided for all participants.

Christmas Carroll Eve Mass
The Church of the Gesu, 9 p.m.
The traditional Christmas Carroll Eve Mass will be celebrated at the Church of the Gesu, across from Rodman Hall on Miramar Blvd. Music will be provided by JCU’s Schola Cantorum, the Chapel Ensemble, and friends under the direction of Dr. Cynthia Caporella, director of liturgical music and musical arts.

Late Night Feast
Schott Dining Hall, 10 p.m.
What is Christmas without food and fellowship? End your evening with a delicious feast of holiday goodies. Reminiscent of a good-old-fashioned family Christmas atmosphere, this event will rival even grandma’s recipes. Holiday Bingo will be a special treat! Gain admittance with concert or Mass program or show your JCU ID.
