Ignatian Heritage Week (January 25-30, 2015) is a series of events designed to celebrate our heritage and our tradition of serving others. This year’s theme of environmental sustainability takes its name from a 2011 document by an international Jesuit task force on Ecology, Healing a Broken World: Ecology, Justice, and Sustainability. In choosing this theme, we hope to draw attention to the Jesuit commitment to ecological justice and invite semester-long reflection, discussion, and action around these important issues. Visit the Ignatian Heritage Week website (http://sites.jcu.edu/mission/pages/ignatian-heritage-week) for more information and a schedule of activities.
