JCU Hosts THATCamp Cleveland

John Carroll University will be hosting THATCamp Cleveland 2015 on March 14 in the Dolan Center. THATCamp stands for “The Humanities and Technology Camp.” It’s an open, free meeting where humanists and technologists of all skill levels learn and build together in sessions proposed on the spot. There are no lengthy papers or presentations! Participants collaborate informally and use sessions to create, build, hack, and solve problems. THATCamps welcome everyone and anyone with an interest in the Humanities and technology. Past attendees have included students, scholars, librarians, archivists, museum professionals, teachers, as well as people from both the non-profit and for-profit sectors. THATCamp Cleveland is an activity of the McGregor Fund-supported grant project, Engaging the World: Education for Contemporary Global Citizenship.
