JCU is participating this month in The Chronicle of Higher Education’s Great Colleges to Work For program, a study designed to help us gather your feedback, benchmark our results nationally, and use the data to identify opportunities to enhance our work environment and campus community.
Part of the program involves a survey of our faculty and staff. On Monday, February 16, you will receive an email from ModernThink LLC, a research and consulting firm that manages this national survey for the Chronicle, inviting you to take part in this survey. This confidential and anonymous survey measures the strength of certain organizational proficiencies and relationships that influence our culture. Your participation and honest feedback are critical to the assessment process.
To ensure the confidentiality of your responses, your survey will be processed by ModernThink. We will not be given any information that would enable us to trace survey data back to any one individual. We are committed to sharing the overall results of the survey with faculty and staff and using the data to inform our planning and efforts to improve communication and morale. We expect to receive the results of the survey this summer.
We encourage your participation in the survey. A high response rate will help to ensure we have sufficient feedback from faculty and staff throughout the University to make the data meaningful for planning and decision making.
