Today: Internships in Global Studies with the World Food Programme

Announcing Alumni Internships in Global Studies with the World Food Programme

  • Four, eight-week administrative internships with the World Food Programme, an agency of the United Nations (www.wfp.org)
  • Two of the internships will be located at the WFP American headquarters in Washington, D.C.
  • Two of the internships will be located at WFP global headquarters in Rome, Italy.
  • Approximate dates of the internships: June-July 2015.

Students in all majors are eligible for the internships.
Junior, senior, or graduate standing is preferred for the 2015 internships.

Support for the internships:

  • Round-trip travel between point of origin and Rome or Washington.
  • Accommodations in Washington or Rome for the eight-week duration of the internship.
  • $3,500 stipend for the eight weeks.

For the first year, the internships will be administrative in nature. In future years, there may be opportunities closer to the field.

These internships are generously supported by JCU alumni.
