4 Top ECSC Awards for JCU Neuroscience Students

At the 69th Annual Eastern Colleges Science Conference (ECSC) held at Niagara University in New York on April 18, 2015, Shelby Griffith received an Award of Excellence for her Research Paper in Physiology, Dina Hanna received an Award of Excellence for her Research Paper in Inorganic Chemistry, and Nicholas Wanner received an Award of Excellence for his Research Paper in Biochemistry. In addition, Amber Johnson received an Award of Excellence for her Poster Presentation in Psychology. ECSC is the oldest undergraduate research conference in the United States. For 28 consecutive years, neuroscience students of Drs. Murphy and Wideman have received First Place/Excellence Awards for research in Biology, Chemistry and/or Psychology at the ECSC.
