Wanna Go Phishing?

Ever been phished, hacked, cracked, or victimized by malware? Ever clicked on a link and had the nagging feeling you shouldn’t have done that?
The ITS Department will host a presentation to discuss the basics of Safe Security Practices in the Interconnected World.
Items covered will include:
– Terminology Overview.
– Secure Browsing Explained.
– Tips on How to Spot Phishing Attempts
– Why Strong Passwords are Critical.
These topics are very relevant for your work at John Carroll as well as for your home computing. To encourage participation we will be giving away 3 JCU branded items from the Bookstore.
This presentation will be held on Thursday, May 14 at 10-11 a.m. in the O’Connell Reading Room in the Dolan Science Center.
All are welcome – bring your questions!
