Join Psychology Club for dinner and a guest speaker on Tuesday, October 13 in the Dolan Science Center, room DE 228. Dr. Shapiro, Ph.D., has worked in hospital settings and was the director of research in a mental health center. Now he does a combination of private clinical practice, consulting on research and program development, teaching at CWRU as an adjunct faculty member, as well as professional training. He is the author of a graduate school textbook called, “Child and Adolescent Therapy: Science and Art,” several other books, and about 40 scientific professional journal articles. He will discuss his personal career path as well as provide an overall view of the field, options, and realities. Event followed by a Q & A. All are welcome.
